Interesting.

I wonder what FMs are being changed.

probably the good ones ;=)

just kidding..so far the planes where they have revisited the fms, like the n17 and se5 are among the most fun ones.

No! I hope they don't mess up the N17! I understand it so well!

naa, they won´t change the N17. that one was re-worked and it is among the better planes.

But so far I am happy it goes on, RoF is still one of the greatest flightsims and the engine and plane era (fragile low speed end ones) match a lot better then IL2:BoS. I am not expecting miracles, but the game has still a lot of potential that could be brought out by a but of polishing.

How do the changed FMs differ?

Hopefully the ridiculous tail-heaviness of the SE5 was reduced. I've tried using the trim on that thing and it doesn't seem to help (or my keybinds don't work?). I have a hell of a time trying to hold a steady aim in that thing, and the DVII to a lesser extent (as you can see in my last ROF recording), due to the abrupt nose-up tendency forcing me to push halfway forward while in a turn. A bit too overdone IMO. Suspect

I think the se5 wasn´t changed. It allready has had (together with the N17) a FM review in the past, and I think both are among the best.

have you checked if the trim-wheel in the cockpit actually moves? You can see your trim there... And it works perfectly well for me and the Se5 flies like a charm..  Might also be a bit in the used joystick and response-curves, though.

Just remember to trim back if you want to go into a turnfight... (which of course one shouldn´t but...)  it helps.
