GUIDE TO GETTING STARTED!

Welcome! If you are interested in flying with us please read on!

Welcome to the forum! We are attempting to start a new squadron for Rise of Flight, one based entirely on realism. Each person will have a virtual pilot who they will create a profile for. In game if you should die, he will die. Then you simply make a new pilot and get right back into it! All in flight communication will be done using a flare system. Our squadron is focused on player vs. AI. We are doing this for a few reasons. We want to build an ongoing story about the squadron and its pilots. Finally, we want this to be fun and not super serious. Don't worry about high scores or trying to be the best, worry about survival!
So you want to join the legendary Duck Squadron?

1. Introduce yourself in the General Discussion section.
2. Check out the Roster and make a pilot or two!
3. Check out the Training section to learn or signal system.
4. Post times you usually fly in the Ready Room.

Additional Notes From Dr. Zebra

We have chosen to add the squad tag *DD*_ for "Dead is Dead" or "Dukely Ducks" to the last name, for easy identification purposes. If you, for whatever reason dont want that, that is totally fine, but this makes you easier to ID on the servers would be very nice. Makes things easier, remembering all current pilots names might get confusing.

Ready to fly?
Then just take it online on the full-real servers with AI. To team up, post your times in the Ready Room or leave the Chatbox on. Also Steam can be used to coordinate.

Mainly we try to fly without comms and try to cut down on the use of in-game chat.. as episode 2 demonstrated clearly the difficulties you can have with it ;=)
