Switching Sides?

Post by DrZebra on Thu Oct 23, 2014 6:30 am

Flying albies is pretty nice, but what do you guys think of making an episode on the otherside in some time? The Se5 is one of the nicest modeled RoF planes and also very beginner friendly and survivable.. other planes would off course work, too

snobby posh brits, lazy frenchmen, waffeling belgishmen a whole world of stereotypes might also be worth exploring with our pilot characters..

if so, how should we go about it? just creat paralell pilots? switch at some point in time (probably after we´ve all been murdered horribly by a bunch of other players...)

so, just to collect oppinons, whaaddddayaallthink?

Well I'm upset the forum did not email about this topic being made! Damn you forum!

But yes i think changing pilots and nations every few episodes might be a fun idea. Playing English pilots might result in a lot of people being challenged to duels and a lot of, "How dare you" being thrown around. Very Happy

I'd also recommend giving the New Wings - Wargrounds server a go, when it's got some people in it.

Wider variety of aircraft and targets to choose from. Probably best when it has ten or more people since players need to do the bombing themselves if a side wants the win. For the same reason, the scenario probably runs for quite awhile before it's decided and restarts.

We will make paralell allied pilots, BRITISH ONES, to be precise... so everone can have two, one allied, one central.

.........................
as you will see, Nefaro, we allready were flying in wargrounds.  Basically any server with realism settings and AI, as the focus is not on PvP but coop.

We had talked about switching to English pilots for upcoming sessions. We will probably switch pilots every couple episodes or so.

I think we could also make them sworn enemies that way... there are a lot of possibilities ;=)

be aware, overall one RoF licence allows for 3 pilot profiles ingame, so Dukley and I sort of go for "one temporary central, one temporary allied and one standard player profile" sort of approach as long as it is feasible, to have the maximum possibilities..

Swore enemies! What a good idea! I hope to have some time this weekend to create my new English pilot.
