Dietrich's Piano

Post by Dukely on Fri Oct 17, 2014 1:49 am

Song of The Squadron

They always gave the Frenchman hell
For they flew strong and proud

High up in the air
Where oxygen is rare
The pair flew into the blue

Proud of there country
and Aerodrome too
They hunted the English past noon

Many have fallen but never give up
For the wings of the duck carry on

Dietrich Cruger

I know very little about music so if something looks odd *shrugs*
Its loosely written to the tune of "End of the night" By the Dropkick Murphys

thats the spirit... Crueger should definatly be awarded one of those:

ooohh no wait, those are british propaganda items. Dam. My mistake..
http://tommyswar.blogspot.de/2012/01/for-kultur.html

and:
http://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/40825

for a bit more of historical background: the allied propaganda displayed the germans early on as brutal "huns", in part for their brutal role in quelling the Boxer Rebelion in china and the atrocities in belgium. Something the german propaganda tried to dismiss by making a list of cultural products and showing that germany actually produced more books, classical music, patents and science discoveries than the allied countries.. a move that backfired tremendously.

I think, we should just pretend it is a real one and give it to your character.. just the frontside only, for the last mission. I am all for it.
