Events like FiF?

Post by DrZebra on Wed Oct 08, 2014 10:53 pm

ok, we may not be there that we can fly hardcore Pvp all the best... but I´d like to point people to the efforts of others, like the "Flanders in Flames" war.. which is also "dead is dead"  scenario, where you can participate with ONE pilots life. While probably time is a major constraint, taking part in nice well organized events is usually among the best experiences you can have in flightsim multiplayer environment and it used to be great fun even back in the days of Red Baron 3d.. Maybe one day we could??

their concept and rules:

they have a very promising planeset which I find pretty balanced, despite slight central disadvantage:

it starts soon, just as a reminder.

We're having trouble getting people to just play a casual game, so it might be hard to take part in an event like this.

true, but nonetheless it is actually recomendable... but trying to just fly some easy-access coop fun should be a lot more accessible for all. I think the main problem is people actually making the first step and simply picking a time to fly..

If you want schedule a time that works best for you since more people here are in your time zone, using UTC.

well, my problem is that I haven´t really got a schedule or work yet, so I am more sporadic online but I´ll post that I am ready.. and then I can throw a mission in. Others may be more lucky, and if it is clear, I may be able to plan better..

in the end, the more people like the format, the easier and casual it can be practiced.
