Armored Warfare (free-to-play)

Post by Nefaro on Mon Oct 26, 2015 1:23 pm

Really been enjoying this over the weekend.  Just went into Open Beta this month.

The Modern/Cold War era equipment is much more appealing to me than WW2 these days (sooo burned out on The Two).  The meta-grind and costs are much better in AW than WT & WoT too.  Obsidian looks to have done a great job.

Plus.. the gfx effects and are gorgeous.  It uses CryEngine.  The gun & missile sounds are superb too.

It gives the impression of playing Wargame:ALB or Red Dragon, but operating an individual vehicle. Cool

Observing some dudes in a Swingfire support vehicle, shooting (and receiving!) ATGMs (Anti-Tank Guided Missiles).
